The Arise Riser is a metal "L" shaped unit with a "handle" opening at the top to be used in the absence of side rails on a patient's bed. It slides between the patient's mattress and bedframe, allowing the Q2's extending support arm to attach securely and safely to the riser while turning and changing the patient's soiled pads or linens.

While not in use, the riser can be stored safely in the upside down position between the mattress and bed frame at the foot of the bed.
